Williamsburg Timeshares
Williamsburg – Historic Timeshare
When discussing timeshare, the mind usually leaps to exotic locations with white sand and parasailing. But, as we have found out time and time again, people do a lot more that laze in the sun while on vacation. Families often like to spend their precious vacation time visiting places that have cultural or historical significance. That is why Williamsburg VA is one of America’s top tourist destinations.
Williamsburg Virginia is the cradle of our nation and has been preserved with all of the customs, costumes and lexicon to give you a true 18th century experience. People from all over the USA and the world visit Williamsburg in droves every year to get a sample of what frontier America was really like. The colonial aspect of Williamsburg is not the only draw however. The business developers in the surrounding area realized early on that if visitors were only coming to Williamsburg for a history lesson, they would not have much incentive to return and their stay would be relatively short. They decided to build up the surrounding area with other fun vacation type activities to ensure that vacationing families would not run out if things to do and also have a reason to return. This is what has made Williamsburg Virginia and Colonial Williamsburg respectively one America’s premier vacation destinations.

While many of the buildings are open to the public some are administrative offices and even private residences. The political landmarks range from the Governors Palace which was the symbol of the pre-revolution British order to the Capitol which is where America first voted for independence. You can even visit Raleigh Tavern that has seen everything from slave auction on the front step to the birth of Phi Beta Kappa in 1776. You can even see Great Hopes Plantation a recreated, working, 18th century plantation complete with a “slave life” interpretation and interactive programs.
